“Something for the weekend” to incorporate Sundays

As announced in today’s Sunday Times I’ve now joined its cryptic setting team, Don Manley having moved across to the Mephisto series. My debut effort appears in three weeks (4th September). I join the established duo of Tim Moorey and Jeff Pearce. We work in rotation so – guess what!? – my puzzles will appear once every three weeks. Although three puzzles have already been submitted, time has a tendency to fly when you’re committed to a regular slot, so the next week or so will see a concerted effort to get at least another three or four completed.
