This was tough but satisfying. It was one of those puzzles that makes you realise how much you normally rely on both the wordplay and the definition working in dialogue to arrive at the solution.
With such a wide field of films from which to pick potential solutions, you had to rely almost exclusively on the wordplay and potential checking letters. I suspect that this would be the case even for someone with a wide knowledge of films.
