OK, 16 Codewords were compiled for the contract that never happened, and it seems a shame to send them to the recycle bin.
The Codeword puzzle consists of a grid full numbers from 1 to 26, each representing a different letter of the alphabet. You are given three starter letters, the basis for re-building the puzzle. Unlike some of the rubbishy newspaper ones out there, these puzzles don’t resort to the cheapness of plurals and some are deliberately designed to keep you guessing right to the end. It’s a PDF file of 5 pages, the last of which shows the solutions.
Thx, anax. I printed ’em out and had a go at the first couple of them. The second one proved a harder nut to crack, but realized that there is a method to this madness and the words were actually familiar and you have not resorted to obscure words to make the pangrams work.. Nice, thanks again for posting.
