Yes indeed. And this time I mean it – it really is Elkamere offering tomorrow’s Telegraph Toughie. I’m hoping for a 3-star difficulty rating this time.

Spot on – no hob-nailed boots but some steel toecaps in the pink fluffy slippers.
2.5* difficulty, 4* entertainment.
Actually this fell apart for me, OK I’m used to DM’s devices a bit by now. (although head bowed in shame couldn’t finish the back page one.) Cheers DM for the fun. Difficulty for me 2* fun 4* perhaps you’re mellowing old boy.
I’m glad I managed tofit this in this evening (although I much prefer solving in the morning). It cheered me up no end after a frustrating day at work – and that’s what it is all about. I would say the diff level is about right – I made heavier work of it this evening than I would have done this morning so I think a 2 – 3 star difficulty for me.
Cheers M’Dears!

Just to let you know I’m having a login problem at WordPress – entering correct username/password but keep being returned to signin even after resetting details – so I won’t be able to post new threads until it’s sorted out.
The problem isn’t just WordPress. Also had to reset my FB password (although I can login there now, having done it), my various Yahoo accounts are prompting for details even though I have them stored, other forums aren’t storing passwords, and in some places (this is very odd) I can access main pages but nothing happens when I click links within; eg on Times for The Times I get to the main page but when I try to click through for individual puzzle comments there’s no response. Something weird has happened and it doesn’t seem to have affected several of the sites I regularly visit. That’s the worst thing – if there’s a problem I like it to be consistent!
